True Sadness

Passage: Colossians 2:6-23

I can't quite bear to leave Colossians 2 without one more look. Actually there are several things there that I think could be developed further but the one I can't leave behind is from the last verse. If these things are wrong, why do they have the appearance of wisdom? And, are they really no help at all? For anyone? Why not?
