Serving Those in Need

We have a long history of reaching out through Missions. Through Mission To The World, we have sent teams and individuals as far away as Peru, Honduras, Belize, Africa, China and as close as Fairmont, West Virginia, New York, Mississippi, and a Mission Training Camp in Atlanta, GA.

We have supported local missions currently and in the past through The Pittsburgh Project, Crossroads Pregnancy Center, The Harbor, and missionaries on foreign soil in Morocco, East Asia and India. We also partner with Young Life, Coalition for Christian Outreach, Reformed University Ministries, Covenant Theological Seminary and Covenant College.

If you have any questions about our Vision for Missions at New Covenant, please contact one of the elder.

Mission: Fairmont, West Virginia

New Covenant has a long term commitment to the town of Fairmont, West Virginia. We have sent teams to this town each year since 2001, and plan to continue sending teams in the future.

Our mission there is to reach the town of Fairmont for Jesus Christ, through serving in the surrounding communities by repairing and restoring homes, leading Vacation Bible Schools, interacting with the neighbors where we work, and coming alongside Christ Community Church of Fairmont.

New Covenant, along with over 50 other PCA churches throughout the United States, sends a team down for one week at a time from June through July. We stay at Dayspring Camp and Conference Center, a new camp owned by Christ Community Church in conjunction with the PCA and developed through the efforts of Christ Community and numerous volunteers associated with the Mission To The World effort in Fairmont.

Along with sending a team each summer, we have and will continue to have opportunity to send teams on weekends to either work on the new camp, or follow-up with those we minister to in the summer.
