Children of New Covenant Church

Children's Ministry is an integral part of our overall ministry for several reasons:

The gospel is valuable to children, for they are in need of the good news.

Scripture teaches us that we are sinful from birth (Ps. 51:5) with hearts oriented towards wrong and evil. (Gen. 8:21)

The Bible impacts children from their youth. (2 Tim. 3:15)

God, the Holy Spirit, reveals truth to children revealing their need for Jesus and awareness of their sin. (Matt. 11:25; 18;6; 21:15)

The gospel calls us to reach out to children in our communities. (Matt. 18:14)

We need to welcome others, including children, into our midst even as we would Jesus. (Matt. 18:5)

On some occasions God brings parents to him through concern for their children. (Mark 7:24-30; 5:22-30) We can serve families by being a blessing to their children.

There are several ways that we seek to do these things:

Sunday School: 9:30 am

A variety of classes are offered through our Sunday School ministry. These classes vary according to age group.

To discover which class your child should attend, simply ask, or check the signs found outside each of the  classrooms in the educational wing.

Childrens’ Fellowship

Meeting during the sermon during the morning worship service. This is an offered time for 3 year olds to those in Kindergarten to have a scriptural lesson specifically geared for them.

Sunday Morning Nursery

The Nursery is staffed during Sunday School, during the morning and evening worship services and most other church events. There is a room for children 0 to 15 months and one for 16 months to 3 years.
