Come As You Are

In Worship we gather as a congregation to meet with our Living God! We speak to Him in our songs, readings, prayers, and offering. We hear Him speak to us as we attend to His Word and hear that Word proclaimed by Pastor Wilson. We worship in a “blended” style, embracing both traditional hymns accompanied by piano and organ as well as biblically sound contemporary songs accompanied by guitars, keyboard, and drums.

The first Sunday of each month is a special time of Worship as we observe the Lord’s Supper, meeting with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to remember and to receive the nourishment of our souls that He offers in this sacrament.

We believe that Worship is the highest calling of all believers and we welcome all who wish to gather in fellowship with our great God!

What does a typical Sunday look like?

Our day starts at 9:00 a.m. with our “Sunday School” for all ages (Sunday School pauses during the summer months). This is a great time to study the Bible together. Our worship starts at 10:15 a.m. and the day wraps with our junior and senior high youth groups at 6:00 p.m.

What is a service like?

As even a brief glance around will tell you, we are blessed with members of every age and stage. The worship is filled with prayer, singing and a great time in God’s Word. You will find the sermon always based on scripture and applicable to your life. We hope that every Sunday we can all grow together in our love and knowledge of our Lord Jesus.

What is the music like?

We worship in a “blended” style, embracing both traditional hymns accompanied by piano and organ as well as biblically sound contemporary songs accompanied by guitars, keyboard, and drums.

Are the church facilities handicapped accessible?

The church is fully handicap accessible and we do have listening aids available to use during the service.

How do people dress?

Folks “come as they are” and you should be comfortable with whatever you like to wear.

What about my kids?

We do love having families worship together and have been blessed with a large number of young families. For the little ones there is a nursery available during worship. There are also Children’s Bulletin clipboards available by the welcome desk in the entry area. These are provided as a tool for helping children learn to be a part of the worship service. During the sermon children 3 years old through kindergarten are welcome to join our children’s fellowship time.

Can I receive communion?

We serve communion on the first Sunday of every month. We believe the “Lord’s Table” does not belong to our congregation nor our denomination. Anyone who is a member in good standing at an evangelical church is welcome to join us for communion.

How can I get connected?

You will find a tear off strip on our bulletin listing many ways to get connected. If you leave your contact information we would love to reach out and share more with you as there are so many opportunities to get together with others and to serve.

How does the church approach safety?

Visit our safe & secure environment page for more details.
